Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Recruiter is responsible for delivering all facets of recruiting success throughout the organization. This will be achieved through the execution of local and regional recruiting plans, employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas. The Recruiter will play a critical role in ensuring we are hiring the best possible talent. The Recruiter also carries out responsibilities in onboarding and training.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop and execute recruiting plans 

Network through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups and employees 

Source, screen, evaluate, and schedule candidates for interviews with hiring managers 

Research, recommend and implement advertising and sourcing solutions to ensure a robust candidate pipeline 

Develop recruitment analytics to demonstrate efficacy of hiring efforts 

Negotiate candidate salaries, perform reference checks and generate candidate offer letters 

Ensure compliance with all legal aspects of recruiting 

Assist with training of employees and hiring managers

Conduct new hire onboarding presentations and continually monitor this process for improvements

File all personnel paperwork that needs to be filed within the Human Resources department

Performs other job-related duties as assigned by VP of Human Resources

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of five (5) years of dedicated experience in a corporate environment; agency experience

Distribution industry experience preferred

Excellent and effective communication skills

Comfort interfacing with all levels of corporate management, including strong experience working with executives

Ability to prioritize and complete simultaneous tasks and projects

A sense of urgency that includes the ability to identify and set time constraints for in-demand candidates 

High energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude 

Experience with an applicant tracking system 

Demonstrated ability to source and promote openings 

Knowledge of affirmative action, OFCCP, Department of Labor requirements
