Position: Medical Talent Acquisition Specialist/Recruiter

8:30am - 5:00pm
$25.00 - $30.00

(Travel between campuses is required)
The Talent Acquisition Partner (Recruiter) is a member of the Talent Acquisition team in the Office of Human Resources and reports to the Director of Talent Acquisition. The Talent Acquisition Partner is accountable for delivering recruitment services to assigned client groups within various business units and departments. In addition to consulting hiring managers on recruiting activities to accomplish timely hiring objectives, the recruiter develops strong business partnerships, provides policy and procedure interpretations. The will develop recruiting strategies, source candidates, screen applicants, conduct interviews, prepare & negotiate offers to fill a variety of non-exempt and exempt positions. This position requires occasional travel between Chicago and Evanston campuses. Occasional off-site travel to recruitment events is also required.
Description & Experience Needed
•Recruit in a high-level environment.
•Source active & passive candidates independently, or in partnership with third-party agencies.
•Conduct prescreening interview calls.
•Recommend top candidates for on-campus interviews.
•Participate in on-campus interviews and selection committees.
•Manage candidates through hiring steps in the applicant tracking system (ATS) in a compliant way.
•Develop candidate pipelines for high volume and hard-to-fill roles to fill current and future needs.
•Attend, design, plan, and execute innovative ways to brand the client at on-site recruitment events (e.g. jobs fairs).
•Develop and cultivate business relationships to build a strong network that sustains the pipeline.
•Develop relationships with active and passive candidates.
Qualifications Required / Minimum Qualifications:
•+3years recruiting experience in a corporate AND staffing agency environment.
•Bachelor's degree OR appropriate combination of education and experience.
•Experience managing candidates and manager relationships.
•Experience managing candidates in ATS or CRM systems.
•Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel).
•Experience with LinkedIn and Indeed for recruiting purposes.
•HR certification (SHRM or HRCI) and/or Masters Degree in Human Resources.
•Five years of full life-cycle recruiting experience in an academic environment, nonprofit or service industry.
•Experience hiring for a variety of exempt and non-exempt roles.
