The Office of the CEO/Chairman is responsible for strategically leveraging the CEO/Chairman and other senior executives to drive our firm’s business priorities. The office serves as the main internal and external liaison for the CEO/Chairman, optimizes global engagements with clients and policy makers, and works on a range of strategic projects for the firm.

 

 

The group reaches across the organization to drive cross-functional collaboration among Client Businesses, Executive Teams, and the Corporate Platform, as well as a wide range of external partners to develop messaging and engagement plans for the firm’s CEO/Chairman. 

 

 

Additionally, the team is responsible for managing independent initiatives impacting the Executive Offices.

 

 

We are looking for a dynamic associate to join our team. Ideal candidates should be highly organized, possess analytical acumen and strong communication skills, with an exceptional ability to process and synthesize vast amounts of information. Candidates should consistently display good judgment and an ability to work with and connect various platforms across the firm.

Primary Responsibilities:

•Partner with regional leadership to structure local engagements for the CEO/Chairman with policy makers, key clients and internal teams

•Develop and manage all aspects of the CEO/Chairman engagement briefing process, including partnering with BlackRock senior leadership, client teams, public policy, corporate communications, corporate governance and otherinternal stakeholders

•Maintain and strengthen feedback loop between Office of the CEO/Chairman and the rest of the firm to promote connectivity and create opportunities for growth

•Drive strategic and independent initiatives impacting the CEO/Chairman and other firm executives

•Compose and edit client correspondence on behalf of the CEO/Chairman

•Conduct analytics of CEO/Chairman engagement landscape to identify trends and develop strategies that support alignment of firm and client priorities

•Seek to improve and evolve the engagement process globally; establish new protocols; drive automation and promote consistency and efficiency

Key Requirements:

•Extremely organized contributor who can deliver results in a fast-paced environment

•Superior interpersonal, leadership and communication skills with the poise to collaborate with all levels of the organization

•Internally resourceful with proven ability to prioritize, meet tight deadlines and manage multiple demands

•Quantitative acumen with demonstrated aptitude to synthesize information, summarize issues and develop clear and relevant narratives

•Comfortable working across multiple functions, geographies and stakeholders, while exhibiting maturity and keen judgment

•Effective team player, results-driven and flexible

•Self-motivated and intellectually curious individual who is eager to learn the priorities of regional, business, and product heads

•Strong integrity, ethics and uncompromising ability to maintain strict confidentiality

•Willingness to perform a variety of tasks while effectively driving multiple projects concurrently

•2-4years of experience in asset management or relevant industry
