Amazon is seeking a detail-oriented, self-motivated individual with a history of achievement to help support the CEO of Worldwide Consumer in Seattle, Washington. This is a highly visible, high impact position with the opportunity to help Amazon as we strive to be the most customer-centric shopping destination for consumers worldwide.

This exciting role will form one part of a three-person Executive Assistant support team and thus requires the ability to work successfully and smoothly in a team environment. It also requires superior attention to detail and strong organizational skills. The successful candidate will possess the talent to complete complex tasks and projects quickly, react with appropriate urgency to situations which require a quick turnaround, be able to take effective action without having to know the complete picture, and proactively solve difficult or complex problems. A good sense of humor is also crucial, as is flexibility and the ability to change direction at a moment’s notice without missing a beat.

Responsibilities for this position include the ability to plan ahead and manage time efficiently. Other key responsibilities include:

· Collaborating to provide seamless support to the CEO
· Helping build the annual business calendar, then facilitating the integration and prioritization of meetings and activities
· Coordinating internal and external events, managing preparation from end to end
· Identifying key milestones of projects and events, then working backwards from those deadlines to ensure deliverables are met
· Creating and enforcing processes to increase productivity and efficiency while minimizing churn
· Building relationships with team members throughout the org and across the company


· 7+yrs of experience assisting a C-level leader or SVP in a large and fast-paced corporate environment (complex calendar management, domestic & international travel, business/corp. event planning, budget management, communications, etc.)
· 2+yrs of experience working closely with another Executive Assistant
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint
· US citizenship or permanent residency


· Ability to handle administrative details independently, while exercising sound business judgment in keeping team members informed as necessary
· Deep experience with detailed domestic and international travel coordination
· Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
· Outstanding planning, time management and organizational skills
· Ability to react with appropriate levels of urgency to situations and events which require quick response or turnaround
· High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information and dealing with professionals inside and outside of the company
· Positive attitude and the ability to have fun at work and help others do the same
· Experience working in a global environemnt
