Position Summary:

Responsible for assisting in the selection, standardization, and management toolsets of Fidelis Care New York’s desktop, laptop, tablet, and mobiletechnologies; serves as a bridge between back office Infrastructure Application teams and end-user Desktop Support team; responsible for providing Level 3 support for all EUC based technologies.

  • Assist in the investigation and selection of new EUC technologies, and their implementation, to establish a converged end user computing environment; develop and design EUC "images" that promote quality and security; assist in the selection and testing of management tools for the EUC environment; collaborate with EUC team lead in the development of patching cycles and monitoring strategies for EUC environment; research industry best practices and analyze how to apply them.

  • Deploy system patches, images, and application binaries to EUC facing technologies; deploy back-end management toolsets; work with back-end infrastructure teams in the development and testing of solutions in support of the successful deployment of projects; develop and maintain scripts and automated processes to improve efficiencies within EUC environment.

  • Perform necessary day-to-day administration of EUC environment and management tools to ensure their ongoing stability and security; ensure that Help Desk and Desktop Support teams are capable of using back office management monitoring tools in support of their position; work with Release Analysts to effectively track and account for deployed assets and licenses; document procedures and practices.

  • Provides Level 3 support of front-end systems in a 24x7x365 environment with on-call responsibilities; provide technology assistance and knowledge transfer to Desktop Support team in support of management and deployed technologies; participate in incident management and root cause analysis processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Access; Outlook; Internet; Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI).

  • Business Analysis Knowledge: Skilled to work in a fast paced environment. Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills.

  • Customer Service: Skilled to communicate with all levels of management, internal and external customers.

  • Ability to work well as a member of a team or alone.

  • Effective Business Communication: Skilled in communicating with technical and business constituencies in writing effective business specifications and requirements.

Preferred Skills/Education:

  • AA/AS - Associates Degree or equivalentrequired.

  • Five or more years of experience in working with end user computing systems in a medium to large organization.

  • Two or more years experience developing images, evaluating, and implementing technologies.

  • One or more years experience working with server based technologies, Application, and desktop publishing; working with VirtualDesktop Infrastructure.

  • MCSA 78, MCSE, Network+ certificate preferred.
