Who We Are:
Reporting to the Head of Finance Operations, the Contingent Workforce Manager works with key partners to establish global policy and practices for Twitter’s contingent workers as well as ensure theoperation of an efficient and effective program.  The Contingent Workforce Manager is seen as a global subject matter expert and guides all levels of the Twitter organization in guiding key decisions.


What You’ll Do:

  • Work with Human Resources and Legal to establish global policies and compliance practices for thecontingent workforce

  • Consult and advise internal customers on contingent workforce needs including long-term and short-term planning and execution

  • Select, manage and monitor third-party vendors in delivery of workforce program including onsite and offsite services.  Establish and monitor related metrics.

  • Manage and monitor the internal deployment of vendor management systems

  • Conduct business reviews with key vendors on a quarterly basis

  • Drive operational consistency where appropriate in all global Twitter locations and monitor compliance

  • Working with the Head of Strategic Sourcing, manage spend in adjacent Twitter sourcing categories such as professional services and business process outsourcing  Specific project tasks may include market research & analysis, data collection/management, cost modeling, RFx strategy development, RFx creation and management, supplier communications, negotiations, contracting, and supplier performance management

  • Maintain a high level of ‘Customer Focus’ attitude


Who You Are:

  • Demonstrated data driven approach to solving problems

  • Demonstrated skills in rigorous, fact-based analyses that drive creative problem solving, proposal preparation, and negotiation

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent attention to detail



  • BA/BS with an organizational development, employment law or an analytical focus (Business, Economics, Accounting, etc).  MBA is a plus.

  • Minimum of 5+ years relevant experience including managing a contingent workforce program for a top-tier company

  • Knowledge of global employment practices and current issues and trends relevant to contingentworkforce

  • Experience in sourcing, procurement, consulting or account executive experience (i.e. RFP Proposals) is a plus

  • Strong Excel and presentation skills
