Business Development Manager (Sales)

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Our client is a large successful global mechanical, electromechanical component supplier that specializes in custom metal stamping and precision injection molding services with headquarters based in Bloomingdale, IL.  This growing company is privately owned, employs about 1,500 workers worldwide and has manufacturing plants in Chicago, Mexico, Malaysia and China.

Current opening is for an experienced and successful Business Development Manager to be responsible for direct sales throughout the US, Canada and Mexico.  This is a key non-managerial position that reports directly to the GM of North American Operations.

Requirements:

• Must have 10 plus years of successful experience selling custom metal stamping, injection molding, precision die cutting or related custom manufacturing focused technology services




• Must be a motivated, personally driven sales professional capable of working independently and with little supervision




• Must be comfortable working larger, complex accounts and calling on ‘C’ level to plant floor personnel.




• Must be capable of working closely with engineers and transferring technical data between prospective customers and internal personal




• Must have a creative, collaborative personal style with desire and drive for results




• Must be able to establish credibility and rapport with customers and internal personnel




• Excellent verbal, written and analytical skills




• Capable of 30%-60% travel




• Position will be based out of the Bloomingdale, IL headquarters office
