Under limited supervision, applies specialized industry knowledge to develop business plans, marketing strategies, forecasts, and market penetration plans for assigned product lines. Monitors customer requirements, both with existing and future products, and provides feedback for product development. Maintains constant awareness of competitor pricing and positioning of product base. Conducts visits and product-marketing presentations.
Essential Job Functions:
- Acts as primary contact for assigned customers and territories to maximize sales.
- Provides applications support to distributors and end-users via telephone, on-site calls, training seminars, and product demonstrations.
- Maintains and contributes to company marketing strategy based upon customer feedback, industry events, and competitive developments.
- Assists in developing the focus of trade show programs, and attends as a Dolby representative. Assists with display booth setup and coordination.
- Assists in the development of product literature and user information.
Requirements:
- College degree or equivalent and a minimum of five years marketing-related experience in the film or recording industry.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively describe and demonstrate Dolby equipment and technologies. Established contacts in the industry desired.To apply to this job, just follow these steps:
