Responsibilities:
This role is integral to the success of the Global Sales and Customer Service Team and will manage two teams. The manager will be responsible for directing the activities of the Associate Product Specialist (APS) team (responsible for training clients on our client’s products) and the newly created Associate Account Manager (AAM) team (responsible for retention and relationship management). The role will involve some travel.
The successful candidate will work in partnership with other sales, marketing, and customer service managers in the business, to further develop our client’s growth and retention efforts. The teams will be responsible for actively promoting the Company’s products, research, events, analyst access, product training and other services to potential and existing clients.
Key Responsibilities:
-Managing the strategic direction for the APS and AAM teams
-Working in collaboration with the Sales and Customer Service teams to support them in the retention and growth objectives of our client base.
-Responsibility for the submission, preparation and implementation of the required business plans. Manager will ensure that the resources, budget and staff are appropriately managed in order to achieve the objectives, goals and targets of the organization.
-Leading APS and AAM retention and business development efforts across the region by gaining an excellent knowledge of the local business environment and priorities
-Working with sales and product strategy management to identify clients who require training on the effective use of designated Our client’s Analytics products
-Refinement of existing channels and development of new channels to ensure we are effectively training and providing a premium level of service to our client base.
-Management of the two teams, which will include motivating, coaching, and appraising staff members to ensure that the team:
-is fully trained to meet the needs of their roles;
-achieves or exceeds their objectives;
-creates and applies best practices in delivering service and training to our prospective and existing clients;
-is deployed effectively to maximize their impact on the client base;
-follows global best practices and contribute to the development of these best practices;
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree, preferably within a Finance or business related discipline.
-In depth knowledge and understanding of capital markets, especially the dynamics related to credit, lending and derivatives;
-Banking or financial services experience is essential.
-Experience managing a team, with the ability to motivate, guide and develop staff in order to deliver the business goals.
-Fluency in English is required.
-Results oriented, with the ability to set clear goals and objectives for self and team, focusing on the achievement of targets, quality and deadlines. Excellent interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
-Excellent computer skills and comfortable handling large sets of data in Excel and/or Access.
-Confident manner, highly motivated and ability to manage own schedule.
