Company: Top publicly traded international Video / Technology Media Company.
My Client is seeking an experienced Senior Account Executive (hunter mentality) to manage business and client development in New York. This individual will play a key role in managing developing and maintaining valuable revenue building relationships within this region. In addition, the Senior Account Executive will be responsible for assessing, negotiating and building significant business with agencies and clients.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Effectively articulate Companies business to potential and current clients and build business through valuable contacts with media and creative agencies within specific territory.
• Meet and exceed quarterly goals according to sales plan and business needs.
• Display full understanding of client needs and articulate these needs to advertising operations staff.
• Gain repeat business and cultivate client relationships for future sales
Skills / Background: • 5 + years sales experience required focusing primarily in online advertising, direct marketing, or Agency related work
• Excellent communication, team management and customer relationship building skills.
• Ability to understand high-level agency and advertiser online advertising and promotional strategies and objectives.
• Significant understanding of online advertising products and services.
• Excellent listening and presentation skills, excellent phone skills, a great attitude and work ethic.
Education & Experience: • Bachelor’s or equivalent college degree in marketing or business; advanced degree definitely a plus.
• Significant direct sales experience and experienced in managing large sales teams.
• Success in achieving and maintaining significant revenue goals on a large regional or departmental, or company-wide, basis.
