EVP - National Mortgage Production (Originations)

ABOUT

Our client is a private equity-owned, mortgage banking business that will be rapidly grown to a rich enterprise value wihin a few short years.  The business will be an integrated mortgage bank with multiple originaitons channels including retail, wholesale and consumer direct.  The business will also include a retained servicing platform and a variety of ancillary income operations.

OVERVIEW

The Chief of National Production, will be the key sales resource for the business, performing the role of strategic partner in the business-decision making process while building, designing and installing processes, controls and human capital in-line with a world-class organization.  The position will focus on:

• Building out a national retail (loan officer) originations footprint


• Scaling the national wholesale production volume 


• Launching a centralized consumer-direct originations channel (Call Center)


• Driving the Internal Rate of Return of the business.


• Leveraging the profitability and risk management of all originations volume in order to drive the enterprise value of the organization

REQUIREMENTS:

• Senior executive leadership within the retail originations environment (#1 or #2 position in a large mortgage lender)


• National relationships with regional managers and/or senior loan officers who could be recruited to scale the build-out of the platform


• Anciallary knowledge of wholesale and consumer direct platforms


• Ability to design a compensation structure and management framework for a national lender


• Strong analytical, technical and strategic planning skills


• Bachelors degree
