JOB DESCRIPTION
We are a global provider of on-demand business process improvement solutions. Our on-demand Communications Operating System offers business applications within the following solution sets: Conferencing & Collaboration, Desktop Document Solutions, Enterprise Document Solutions, Notifications & Reminders, and eMarketing.
The Global Account Executive (Hunter) is responsible for selling services to new Global/National customers. This includes the entire sales cycle from prospecting calls to close of the sales.
Experience/Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing; or, 5 years of sales experience and/or training; or 3-7 years combination of both
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Prospecting calls for new, large Fortune 500 customers
- Identify key decision makers
- Schedule face-to-face appointments
- Distribute business cards, sales brochures and promotional information to customer locations to establish contact with potential customers
- Conduct face-to-face appointments with customer
- Gather information to identify customer requirements
- Verbally present information to customers using brochures and other written marketing materials
- Document results of meeting and necessary actions needed to advance the call through the sales cycle
Customer Follow-Up
- Return customer calls to answer questions and provide information
- Seek information to answer customer questions from various resources (written documents, field support personnel, sales manager, other sales reps)
- Write follow-up thank you letters to customers summarizing key points of customer call
- Obtain information from sales manager and other sales reps and develop a strategy for meeting customer requirements
- Input information into proposal for pricing of various services
- Write sales proposal that recommends PC services and provide product, service and financial information to meet customer requirements
Product Demonstrations
- Schedule appointments with customers to demonstrate services
- Tailor demo to meet identified customer requirements
- Obtain information about competitor’s services and integrate information into demo
- Perform demo for customer by presenting product information, running customer applications on the services
- Answer customer questions and probe for additional requirements
Skills/Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to properly handle and maintain confidential issues, information and concerns
- Excellent presentation skills
- Ability to travel as business needs dictates (up to 20%)
- Strong team/project management skills
- Ability to learn in depth Premiere Conferencing products and services
- Conflict and problem resolution skills
