JOB DESCRIPTION

I am currently looking for Business Development Managers for my client, an IT Software and Services Company (2009 and 2008 Honoree:  Inc 5000 fastest growing companies) started in 1995 in Chantilly, VA. My client offers a great entrepreneurial opportunity, letting you use your proven sales and/or technical background to develop and grow your own client base by selling technical consulting services for Contract and direct hire staffing solutions and/or software products or application software, solutions to Major Companies across United States.

Must be an IT Solutions and/or IT Staff Aug sales "hunter" with offshore experience!

My client has offices in the United States and Offshore, and provides IT services to Federal and State Governments, to Fortune 1000 Companies, and to emerging growth businesses; providing industry experienced and highly qualified IT Consultants to augment Client needs in their internal IT departments.  They are positioned to guide clients in preparing for tomorrow’s technologies, today. They are actively involved with Advanced Technologies including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Data Warehousing/Business Intelligence Implementations, ecommerce Strategies and Deployments, Client/Server Solutions, Distributed Systems Implementations, Network Architectures, Internet/Intranet Applications, Object Oriented Development, and System Re-engineering Projects.

Requirements:
- Must have previous experience selling successfully IT Staff Aug/ITSolutions.
- Must have a minimum of 5-10 years of prior experience working with a major Solutions Company and/or Consulting Company and/or Software Companies Professional services division.
- Must have prior experience with presentation to high level (C-level) Management at the Fortune 2000 client companies.
- Must be able to meet a quota of $1-5 Million Dollars per Year.
- Must be energetic
- Must have a positive attitude
- Must love to work in teams but be a top individual producer
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
- Must have strong problem-solving/analytical skills.
- Persuasion and negotiation skills are among the best. Able to make a positive first impression.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Master Degree in Business or equivalent work experience with a focus on Sales/Marketing

Responsibilities:
- Work off of a target list of companies that are in our database and to develop new Client business.
- Generate IT Staff Aug/Solutions sales leads and place IT professionals and procure IT projects (both on-site, off-shore).
- Identify key decision makers within companies to establish professional relations and win business.
- Identifies market potential by qualifying accounts.
- Initiates sales process by scheduling appointments; making initial presentation; understanding client IT Staff Augmentation requirements or Project needs and provide solutions based on the client needs.
- Respond to client RFP, RFI, RFQs
- Closes sales by building rapport with potential client’s key contacts hiring managers; explaining service capabilities, preparing contracts.
- Negotiate contract rates with clients, with a focus on company profitability goals and objectives.
- Service clients by recommending our available candidates/consultants for their current needs or Solutions.
- Able to forecast Monthly Sales Goals, build a great pipeline and measure Business results.
- Attend networking events to build clientele relations and community support.
- Negotiate bill rates and salaries with hiring managers to stay within customer budgets.
- Work closely as a team with dedicated Technical Recruiters on the top talent available for Staff Augmentation needs and Project Managers for the delivery of Solutions.
- Manage consultants on the client site to ensure job performance is above satisfaction.

Compensation:
Base: 50K – 80K (depending on experience), plus commissions, OTE 100K++

This position/plan is well compensated and leveraged very competitively for a substantial income along with full benefits package including paid vacation, health and dental insurance, profit-sharing and a 401k plan.
