Federal Account Manager – Security Software

The Federal Account Manager will be responsible for achieving/exceeding annual revenue goals set for the allocated territory through the sales of our comprehensive and complex security applications.  They include technology based upon white box cryptography, anti tampering, anti piracy, license management and code theft application protection.  We also offer security solutions for web applications and cross embedded platforms for desktop and server applications. Federal Account Manager will responsible for planning and executing a strategy designed to leverage existing success to penetrate new target accounts and grow the Federal market within both Civilian agencies, Intel and the Department of Defense.


 


 


Principal Responsibilities



  • Effectively develop and manage a pipeline of Federal Accounts; exceed allocated quota.

  • Prospect and manage agency, DoD, and Federal integrator accounts; close new business.

  • Develop business plan with targeted accounts

  • Leverage and guide inside sales team in penetrating strategic target accounts.

  • Work closely with the sales engineering team to assess customer requirements.

  • Forecast accurately.


Knowledge and Skills



  • Minimum ten years of Federal software and / or IT services sales experience

  • Experience selling to Department of Defense preferred.

  • Experience in selling testing or networking solutions targeted at the Federal IT

  • Executive level is essential; experience selling consulting services in support of these solutions is also required.

  • Polished and convincing presentation (oral and written) and interpersonal skills; ability to operate effectively and confidently with ‘C’ level executives.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Power Point, Word and Excel) and Salesforce.com

  • Ability to work independently toward stated business goals in an open and collaborative manner with great sense of urgency

  • Highly developed organizational skills

  • Strong general business and IT acumen / understanding of general issues facing government and industry IT organizations




Working Conditions and Environment



  • Requires 50% travel


 


Compensation:  Base salary range will be between $100-$110,000 with on target earnings of over $250,000.
