Our client, a leading provider of technology solutions for the public sector, is looking for an Account Executive to join their growing sales organization.
This opportunity offers a competitive base compensation with uncapped earnings potential.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for achieving territory sales quota
• Identify and develop an in-depth understanding of each sales prospect, their buying
and organizational influences and their decision-making processes.
• Attract clients to the unique technology our client offers through combinations of
marketing efforts such as industry trade shows, telephone and in-person client meetings
• Remain current on industry trends and competitive knowledge
• Source opportunities for further account penetration within existing clients and channel partners.
• Identify client expectations regarding deal terms and contractual processes
• Liaise with appropriate corporate resources regarding contract terms, statements of work, master service level agreements, etc
Specific Requirements:
• Bachelors Degree
• Experience selling technology solutions is required
• 5+ years of direct sales experience in information systems/business to business technologies is highly preferred.
• Experience selling to the state and local government.
• A proven, and verifiable, track record of lead generation and qualification, account penetration, growth and revenue recognition is required.
• Ability to interact with all levels of management, customers, and staff in professional and diplomatic manner
• Proven and successful sales experience at managing resources and complex, multidimensional sales effort at the customer level and corporate environment.

• Knowledge of best practices in management of high velocity hub and spoke warehouse distribution systems
• Ability to interact with all levels of management, customers, and staff in professional and diplomatic manner

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
