JOB DESCRIPTION

This position is for a senior-level IT sales executive with strong IT contacts and current Fortune 1000 customers. You must have experience selling in the IT industry as a reseller to be considered. Please apply for this position if you are currently with a value added reseller (VAR) or have recently left a VAR.

Unitiv provides a strategic approach to its service delivery, focusing on three core components: People, Products, and Process. The People to advise and manage complex technical solutions. The Products to design and build customized IT solutions. The Process to develop and manage post-implementation operations.

Unitiv is looking for a strong candidate for the position of Senior Account Executive.  This person must have a  history of success and growth in the IT industry,  We offer excellent compensation -- in addition to a competitive base salary

Responsibilities:
Business Development - complete responsibility for prospect-evaluate-propose-close
Client Relationship Management - manage relationships with client personnel and CXOs within the client organization and continue to grow account
Build sales pipeline, follow up on marketing leads
Negotiate with client executives
Build a personal sales plan and regularly communicate performance upwards

Experience Required:
This position requires an execution-focused sales executive, experienced in infrastructure-related technology sales
Experience working with a technology VAR
Established credentials and C-level contacts
Individual contributor and positive attitude
At least 10 years IT-related sales experience

Critical Success Factors:
Within a 12 month period, has closed $4MM in hardware/software/services.
Within 2 months, develop a sales plan; develop a forecast report with at least 60%? accuracy
Within 3 months, have 1-2 prospects in solution proposal stage
Within 6 months, needs to have closed 2-3 deals or $1.?5 MM hardware/software/services deal
