As a Sales Representative for Chemical Associates, you will be a critical member of a team that is focused on total customer satisfaction. You will service and develop existing accounts; secure new accounts; focus sales efforts to obtain budgeted volumes, revenue and profit; achieve sales of key products as defined in the territory marketing plan; monitor and report business trends within the industry; keep management informed; maintain professional and technical knowledge; contribute to team effort. This position covers the states of TN, NC, SC, MS, AL, GA, and Florida. It requires some overnights and an extensive number of face-to-face sales calls.
The successful candidate will be a highly motivated salesperson with several years experience in the chemical (or allied) industry and a track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals. Additional requirements include a BS in chemistry or related area, strong business skills, the ability to aggressively secure new accounts while developing existing accounts and an entrepreneurial spirit.
