The Manager, Ecommerce Business Development position is primarily responsible for achieving the operational and strategic revenue growth for the eCommerce solutions business, typically through channel & direct partnerships. This business will grow to $200 million by 2013, largely through the outreach activities of the business development team. This position is responsible for increasing Shareholder Value by growing revenue and EBIT, expanding the product and service portfolio into target segments and platform providers, and helping shape the overall strategic direction of the business.
Responsible for building $200 million Ecommerce Mailstream business as presented and structured in our NBO Strategic Growth Plan. This position will be instrumental in positioning PB as a leader in the Global international shipping market providing domestic and international services across the Ecommerce value chain. This customer-facing role interacts extensively with business development and technology-level contacts in the Ecommerce segment, and requires knowledge and experience in this industry. Activities include strategic analysis for partnership opportunities, researching and presenting to potential partnership and retail targets in order to develop a solid pipeline of working busines, managing the due diligence process for the business negotiations, and integration support to professional services team.
Drive alignment and channel coordination with existing PB sales channels and customer acquisition strategy. Maintain consolidated pipeline of activity representing all Ecommerce working business. Act as primary liason for sales support, collaboration, and innovation for positioning suite of solution services successfully to the market.
Support Marketing and Product Development initiatives providing customer feedback, user education needs, market and partner activities, and competitive insights ensuring Pitney Bowes is maintaining best-in-class solution.
Perform financial analysis and forecasting for revenue and budget expectations on a quarterly and future year outlook. Determine causes for changes and/or gaps in financial performance, assessing opportunities for improvement and attainment of stated goals and helping to build future budgets.
