JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Sales Director to provide strategic leadership for our client’s Turbine Systems aerospace accounts. In this role, you will be responsible for regional sales growth and profit and serve as the strategic contact with foundational customers as well as the regional management team. You will be accountable for development and execution of regional sales plans and strategies that support company growth and profitability objectives.
To be considered, qualified candidates must demonstrate:
- Strategic thinking, planning and execution success in a sales leadership role.
- Minimum of 10 years progressive sales experience preferably in the turbine aerospace market or a related, long development cycle industry.
- At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role with large-scale sales experience ($75M+).
- Track record of results working for a multinational company(s) with a diverse, global customer base.
- Extensive experience working with a technical/engineered product serving complex accounts and channels.
- Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and relationship management skills with significant exposure/experience at the executive level.
- Strong commercial skills including generating new business with existing customers.
- Solid technical and business acumen; Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred.
