The Kroger Team Leader is responsible for the direction and management of a 5 person multifunctional Team with sales in excess of $100,000,000 across a number of categories
Responsibilities:
• Support, develop and execute business plans to support achievement of the company sales, profit, share and marketing objectives for all categories as well as achieving Kroger’s Joint Business Plan goals.
• Manage and facilitate cross functional communication, relationships and interaction between Kroger and corporate groups while pursuing continued account penetration of the Kroger organization.
• Lead the implementation of our Trade Fund strategy through the appropriate management of our Category Performance Funds at Kroger.
• Responsible for 100% compliance for the Kroger relative to business policies and programs.
• Provide thought leadership to the Kroger teams’ internal support groups (Customer Development, Customer Solutions, Trade Marketing, Finance Category Management/Insights and logistics) in order to improve their effectiveness in understanding and serving Kroger.
• Responsible for development of the company Kroger Team personnel to ensure a strong team through personal growth and teamwork.

Skills
Bachelor degree required
7-10 years of Consumer products experience in sales coupled with roles in either Category Management or Trade Marketing
Minimum 4 years on the Kroger Business with solid senior level relationships
Will consider a National Account Manager from a Blue Chip Consumer Products Company ready to take the next step up
Experience managing to a P&L
“Board Room Ready” Experience conducting top to top initiatives
Analytical acumen (IRI/Nielsen, Kroger proprietary data)
