General Summary:
Responsible for development of sales representatives, successful sales team, and achievement of market revenue goals driven through a customer focused/solutions oriented environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
? Coach and motivate sales team to reach market quota and revenue objectives
? Establish processes and procedures to ensure successful sales to our customers
? Ensure current and new sales representatives participate in successful telecommunications and salesmanship training to include internal and external training expectations
? Assist sales representatives in presentations and proposals to prospective customers
? Demonstrate and expect the highest standards of professionalism and business ethics
? Ensure effective cross-functional relationships within XO
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
? Proven sales success
? Proven ability to attract, develop, and motivate a successful sales team
? Possess outstanding written and verbal communication skills
? Possess in-depth knowledge of voice, data, and internet products
? Demonstrated ability to persuade and influence individuals
? Possess excellent analytical and negotiation skills
? Possess ability to achieve customer and XO expectations
Minimum Qualifications:
? Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Finance, or a related field or, equivalent work experience
? Relevant Work Experience: 3 plus years successful sales experience in telecommunications or related industry
