About the Position
The National Account Manager is both a revenue generating and a leadership role. This position, which reports directly to the President, focuses on increasing profitable sales to our high-volume existing and prospective customers while also working one on one with Regional Sales reps. The ideal candidate will possess superior sales skills, market knowledge, professionalism, and strong business relationships within the Health and Beauty aid industry. Additional responsibilities include:
· Achieve revenue and contribution margin objectives by selling to large existing
· Acquire new key customers in all targeted channels of trade
· Create and deliver effective and impactful sales presentations to key retail chains in the industry.
· Build strong business relationships with all levels of account’s management.
· Build an extensive knowledge base in each product category
· Lead trade marketing efforts by understanding real customer
· Accurately forecast, order, and transport products to customers, insuring customer satisfaction.
· Assist the development of strategic sales and marketing platform, strategic account management, and overall sales strategy.
Requirements
· Extensive experience with big box retailers and supermarket/dollar chains
· Have a Health & Beauty or Household product background
· 7+ years of successful National Account Sales experience
· Experience managing direct and wholesale reps
· 4-year degree
· Strong analytical and financial skills
· Exceptional oral and written communication skills
