Senior Sales Executive—Federal Government Accounts


 


Human Resources 


 


We are searching for a Senior Level sales professional to sell consulting services to C-Level Executives in Fortune 500 companies and Federal Government Accounts.  This is a true National Account position.   If you have sales experience to the Federal Government, particularly with a human resources application, you will be considered for this outstanding opportunity available in the DC metro area.  Here are the highlights:



  •  First year: $120-180k with significant base salary.



  • Top reps can earn up to $200k.



  • Company sells a line of highly consultative, strategic products to Government and Fortune 500 C-Level execs.

  • This position offers opportunity to grow to a higher income as well as management.



  • Company is in a post-recession growth mode in the midst of a national rebranding initiative.



  • There is extremely high demand for this mix of services.



  • This is a true key account/national account management role with emphasis on the Federal Government sector.



  • Position is open due to a promotion – strong account base in place.



  • Company offers an extremely satisfying work culture and environment. Extremely low turnover with an average tenure of twenty years.



  • While new business development is the prime focus, strong C-Level relationships are built that leads to repeat business and more complete account penetration with ancillary services.



  • Salary package is negotiable based on level of experience, exposure to HR vertical, actual C-Level contacts, etc. 


TO QUALIFY:  



  • You must have a 4-year degree.



  • You must have at least seven years of post-college sales experience.



  • Your current job must be selling some form of a complex solution to Federal Government Accounts.



  • You must have worked for at least one Fortune 500 type organization.



  • Job Stability is key - you must have a track of staying with organizations and mastering their product (can’t be changing jobs every two to three years). Typical hires have a five to fifteen year stay with the big company on their resume.



  • Any experience related to human capital (high end staffing solutions, training, assessment/testing, organizational development, industrial psychology solutions, HR consulting or other HR solutions) is a definite plus.
