Requirements:
-Graduate of a four-year college with a degree in business administration, marketing, or its equivalent required. An advanced degree or equivalent is preferred.
-Knowledge in business management, marketing, and sales.
-Minimum seven (7) years healthcare experience & demonstrated leadership experience with product launches, project facilitation and implementation; excellent interpersonal and communication skills; and working knowledge of all functions. within the acute care and non-acute care setting with emphasis on medical/surgical products.
-Previous experience with direct contracting, purchasing, or business experience would be preferred.
-Must be able to work independently, organize, solve problems, and make independent judgments.
-Computer skills should include Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Internet, and electronic mail systems.
-Presentation and meeting facilitation skills required.
-Ability to coordinate and manage multiple membership relationships and moderate to extensive day and overnight travel required.

DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for the management and national performance (Profit and Loss). Responsible for the promotion and implementation of the Group Purchasing Program. Develop coordinated key marketing strategies to increase customer awareness and cost saving opportunities. Provides direct sales support training. Identify, develop and implement procedures to improve effectiveness and contract utilization. Develop strategies to generate revenue and control organizational costs. Contributes to strategic initiatives.
