Job Description
As a client-focused and results-driven business leader, the Industry Sales Specialist is expected to develop and grow a regional vertical solution practice for VzB. The Industry Sales Specialist is expected to manage delivery for assigned accounts and growth in existing account and new client acquisition. The Industry Sales Specialist is perceived as a lead executive capable of creating and delivering a visionary client value proposition. The Industry Sales Specialist leads a unified team of sales professionals and diverse internal support organizations to build a compelling and highly professional proposal and financial proposition. Develop client relationships at the CXO level and cultivate those relationships to the extent they result in repeatable revenue generating opportunities Assemble, manage and lead an effective team to pursue vertical opportunities, ensure the team is well staffed with professionals who can produce a winning proposal. Operate in a highly competitive environment and be successful attaining quota, client satisfaction and people development goals. Create, articulate and present a clear client strategy that differentiates VzB from its competitors by communicating complex solutions and visions to address client-specific business problems and challenges. Build internal coalitions and constituencies to gain the appropriate executive support to assist our efforts to generate vertical revenues. Operate in a matrixed organization and find the appropriate resources to be successful closing vertical engagements.
Requirements
Advanced skills to perform complex work for a functional area and general knowledge of other areas; requires independent thinking; demands full use and application of principles, theories, concepts and technologies. Generally requires a BS degree or Masters degree and a minimum 8+ years experience in a specified vertical.Strategic and Analytical Mindset; Consultative Sales Approach; Professionalism; Effective oral and written communication skills at all levels of client organization and VzB; Responsiveness and Flexibility; Cognitive Thinking; Strong interpersonal skills and People Assessment abilities; Project Management. The Client Partner must possess a well-established track record for delivering successful client engagements, closing large, complex sales and building senior client relationships
