VP Sales & Marketing

HemaCare is a publicly traded company providing customized delivery of blood products and services since 1979. The Company’s growth strategy is based on its strong reputation among hospitals and donors as responsive and customer friendly. HemaCare is investing in additional services to provide a level of customer care that will continue its enviable market differentiation.

Reporting to the CEO, this newly created leadership position will be responsible for developing and implementing sales and marketing as well as participate in the identification of emerging markets as part of the strategic business planning process and develop the company’s strategic positioning for those markets.

Responsibilities will include:

• Consistently meet or exceed all sales and profitability targets.




• Establish the broad marketing and sales initiatives and ensure the tools and resources are available to implement these plans.




• Marketing Strategy and Implementation: Lead the defining, designing, implementing and overseeing management of marketing programs and tools for all company service lines.




• Provide leadership to the marketing and sales teams.

 Requirements:

• 15 years in an executive sales and marketing role. MUST HAVE exp in medical products, services and/or equipment.




• Proven sales track record of ability to identify, attract and close new clients while increasing services sold to existing clients.




• Marketing expertise and demonstrated ability to define new opportunities and create programs enabling the organization to expand into new markets.




• Bachelor’s degree; MBA preferred.
