Company Description: 


Our client wants high volumes of confidential information to travel comfortably online. The company provides its clients with secure, collaborative online digital workspaces for conducting financial transactions, discussing mergers and acquisitions, exchanging documents, and collaborating with advisers, customers, and suppliers. They sell their products to companies in the financial services, life sciences, and mergers and acquisitions markets referenceable. Customers list includes the top 20 names in just about every major vertical. Due to growth and expansion and the economic turnaround they are looking for a senior account executive to handle their accounts in the hedgefund and alternative investment vertical.


 


Position Description:


 


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:


 



  • Establishes and develops strategy and tactics for selling to targeted key accounts and new prospects in Alternative Investment markets.

  • Identifies and establishes relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.

  • Develops a thorough understanding of our clients services, updating service knowledge and sales presentations as technical specifications change to ensure consistency with the current marketing position.

  • Researches key accounts to gain understanding of their market and industry to expand IL opportunities within the appropriate market segment.

  • Delivers our clients value proposition using appropriate sales approach and techniques, including team and/or consultative presentations and efforts.

  • Works with senior management and legal team, negotiates contracts and provides all follow-up to deliver signed contracts.    

  • Diligently tracks and manages all information in our CRM system, Salesforce.com   This includes, but is not limited to opportunity/pipeline management, client meetings, customer contacts and overall strategic plan.

  • Meet and exceed agreed monthly/annual performance in both Quota Achievement and Key Performance Metrics (e.g. number of discovery sessions, number of proposals, etc.).     


 


Qualifications/Requirements:


 



  • Minimum 5 to 7 years experience as a Sale Executive

  • Prior experience with Alternative Investment community



  • Proven and demonstrable track record in similar sales role

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to create and deliver effective, polished presentations.

  • Exhibit intellectual curiosity, delivering creative and resourceful solutions.

  • Demonstrate success working at decision-maker levels within targeted business segment.

  • Extensive capabilities working with all levels of an organization, including technical teams and personnel to overcome service delivery obstacles.

  • Thrive as part of and within a team atmosphere while delivering on an individual level.

  • Show appreciation and understanding of sales process.
