Description Responsible for selling business Optimum Online, Optimum Voice for Business, and iO Digital cable service to businesses in designated territories. Strictly acquisition of new customers through cold calling, door-to-door canvassing. Understands all aspects of all three products including all features and functionalities as well as equipment and installation issues. Prepares proposals and presentations to prospective clients. Meets with prospects to analyze their online, phone and cable television needs and develops sales strategies. Closes business to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual objectives. Compiles information to develop business cases to cost justify building to multi tenant buildings and non-serviceable commercial locations.QualificationsThree to five years of successful sales experience in the commercial telecommunications industry preferred. Familiar with the territory. Must have a valid driver license. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Basic knowledge of MS Word and Excel. Basic knowledge of Internet, cable modems and DSL required.
