Director of Business Development
This is a highly entrepreneurial role for an executive sales leader. You will receive a license to represent a web-based technology solutions company. Establishing a local office, you will develop, manage and lead a sales team as coach and mentor. Your team will introduce new, innovative and recurring revenue streams in addition to managing existing client relationships.

Business Opportunity:
Manage a Team of Salaried Sales Executives
Establish a Boston Sales Office with a formal business infrastructure, including a local office to support and house team of local sales executives
Recruit, coach and maintain a productive sales team.
Work closely with Corporate Office to facilitate appropriate client service, administrative and production staff to ensure the growth opportunities in the territory are materialized.
Manage existing client relationships while consistently bringing on new clients
Grow sales through new, increase and recurring revenue streams.
Key Responsibilities
Manages an assigned geographic sales area to maximize sales revenues and meet corporate objectives.
Accurately forecasts annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams.
Develops specific plans to ensure revenue growth in all company’s products.
Provides quarterly results assessments of sales productivity
Directs professional account management activities.
Requirements
Seasoned field sales mgmt. professional with a proven track record for growing sales revenues
Expertise in recruiting, hiring, developing, mentoring and coaching sales team members to achieve corporate goals and objectives.
Core Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, or marketing or equivalent training in business or sales management.
Dynamic, aggressive, results-oriented leadership with well developed communication skills.
"Hands-on" management style; adaptable to a fast paced, high-growth, changing environment.
Experience with start-up companies a benefit but not essential
Will require developing excellent knowledge of Company’s products, software pricing practices, and selling skills.
Working knowledge of MS Office and contact database programs is mandatory
Requires excellent time management, communications, decision-making, human relations, presentation and organization skills.
Requires the ability to meet deadlines, frequent assignment changes, periodic heavy workload, rapidly changing technology and dynamic business growth
Team Leader with self-starter ability to multi-task and prioritize deliverables in a fast-paced deadline-oriented environment.
Strong analytical skills and experience creating and presenting sales strategy and sales campaigns.
Requires mobility at conventions and meetings.
