Position: Midwest Sales Manager for B2B Sales/Food Ingredients

Location: Minneapolis, MN

What you will have the chance to do:

• You will use your experience, knowledge, and industry contacts to identify opportunities to increase sales, with a primary focus on new business development. The company places a strong emphasis on building relationships, identifying customer needs, and providing good follow through to ensure long term customer satisfaction.
• You will also provide on-going support to existing customers; managing the client relationship, providing technical support and follow up as needed, and serving as the conduit to internal company technical resources.
• Additionally, you will develop sales plans and forecasts to maintain the needs of strategic clients, while seeking additional growth opportunities.
• Finally, you will work closely with marketing and R&D to provide proactive support for new and existing customers, and participate in the development of and go-to-market strategies for new products.

What you must bring to the table:

• Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
• 5 + years successful sales experience in food ingredients, preferably in dairy
• Strong technical knowledge of the ingredients industry
• Quantifiable track record of sales success
• Strong computer aptitude and presentation skills
• Get it done, team player attitude
