Our Client is a 42-year old U.S. company in the diversified office automation equipment and electronics industry with sales in excess of $2.8 billion annually.  They are looking for a highly committed, enthusiastic, self-starter to join their sales team as a Senior Account Manager.  The successful candidate will be located in the Jackson, MS area.

The ideal candidate MUST HAVE PREVIOUS HIGH PRODUCTION COPIER SALES EXPERIENCE ALONG WITH DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM SALES.  A desire to work hard and succeed in a competitive market is also an important prerequisite.  Upon completion of their sales training program, you will be required to effectively manage your territory by prospecting for appointments, demonstrating an extensive range of equipment and following through to create successful sales opportunities.  Some overnight travel maybe required to fully manage your territory.  

Responsibilities

* New business prospecting and development, including cold calling; scheduling client introductions and meetings; and preparing presentations, proposals, and bid specifications to strategically win new business.
* Attending training and associated workshops to increase product knowledge and to stay abreast of company products and pricing as well as familiarity with competitor products and pricing.
* Participating in trade shows, exhibits, open houses, and product demonstrations, promoting company image and products.
* Understanding of basic selling skills, with exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication abilities to work within a professional, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree, or related work experience.
* 4 or more years of business-to-business selling experience (HIGH PRODUCTION COPIER PRODUCT EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED).
* Superior knowledge of sales techniques including cold-calling, networking, lead generation, all with the ability to capture and close the deal.
* Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and proof of insurability.

This Company is looking for very specific individuals and will not consider individuals that do not have experience selling high production reproduction equipment. They are offering a base salary of 75K and total on plan earnings up to $150k.  In addition, you will receive typical large company benefits.   This company in an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action Employer.
