DavidBartonGym (DBG) is a premiere boutique gym company operating stylish, upscale health clubs in New York City, Miami, Chicago, and Seattle.  DBG is recognized for providing industry-leading personal training and a superior level of service. DBG is seeking professionals with significant sales, marketing and business experience to fill the Sales Manager role.

Experience selling in the fitness/health club industry is beneficial.  DBG Sales Managers play a prominent role in driving our strategic objectives and are therefore one of the keys to our organizational success.  An ideal Sales Manager is a big-picture thinker who understands business drivers and can creatively develop and nurture revenue sources while training and managing a team of Membership Advisors (salespeople).

Your success as a DBG Sales Manager will rely on your ability to foster a culturally diverse, creative and fun atmosphere, while maintaining a hungry and professional staff of Membership Advisors that are well trained in our brand and business model and who are taught to work with one another as a team.  As a Sales Manager, you will monitor and manage your team’s performance, both individually and collectively, develop the team through effective communication and collaboration, and are responsible for a small portion of the overall team goal.  The daily routine will challenge your ability to develop solutions to immediate goals and issues; however, the ideal Sales Manager will always maintain perspective of the club’s monthly and annual objectives and will keep others directionally focused on these larger goals.
