Private Sector Practice Leader

Informatix, Inc. is going through a period of growth and is currently looking for a full-time Private Sector Practice Leader for its product, business process outsourcing and consulting lines of business.  As the Private Sector Practice Leader you will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and will have full responsibility for leading and expanding our Private Sector line of business. The role will be responsible for managing the service line performance, team, revenues and our Private sector client base.   The Practice Leader must work collaboratively with other Practice Leaders and Managers of Informatix. 

The candidate should have proven experience in team environments, and enjoy working in a fast paced and collaborative setting.  Informatix’ corporate headquarters is located in San Francisco and maintains its operating office in Sacramento California.  We have additional offices in Michigan, Tennessee, Alabama, and Minnesota.  It is expected that the Practice Lead will work from our Sacramento or San Francisco offices.

Responsibilities include:

Business and Practice Development

- Maintain existing client portfolio and manage existing accounts

- Build new client relationships and manage new accounts

- Build and maintain business relationships with market leaders, and business contacts

- Manage the Private Sector sales process

- Lead the development of client proposals including resourcing and professional fee determination

- Monitor the status of established Private Sector offerings regarding revenue goals and growth expectations

- Identify market opportunities and establish the Private Sector strategy for products and services

- Develop the business case for new Private Sector offerings; lead offering roll out plans and monitor progress.

Line of Business Performance

- Manage Practice to ensure the realization of target profitability

- Attain utilization targets

- Oversee the delivery of products and projects to ensure project profitability and overall client satisfaction

- Manage Practice revenue goals

- Manage, provide leadership and mentor Private Sector Consulting staff

- Ensure accurate compliance with project reporting (internal and external)

Key experience requirements:

- 15-20 years in the IT consulting industry with at least 10 years in the Financial Services or related sector.

- Proven success in delivering products and/or consulting service to the private sector.

- Strong domain expertise in financial services or IT consulting.

- Experienced in managing consulting teams with responsibilities for revenue, sales and practice management.

- A strong team leader.

- Executive presence – extremely articulate with good client facing skills.

- A good commercial sense. Ability to realistically project revenue goals for the service line.

- Well respected by peers, staff and executive teams.

- In depth business development, presales and marketing experience.

- Exceptional written and verbal communications
