Market leading Network Application Performance Management Software Company seeks Sr. Account Executive to join their thriving sales team. This position is commercially focused and purely for the software solution professional.
Candidate must reside in Territory which is the Chicago Metro area.
Company is leading edge, private, has products integrated with Cisco amongst others. WAAS (only product that can currently monitor Cisco) and Netflow are primary focus of business problems solved. Due to strong partnership with Cisco, great support, joint marketing and leads come from this monster channel [$90M in company-wide pipeline, approx $22M from Cisco partnership!!!].
EXTENSIVE training program/investment offered by company, excellent marketing/lead generation campaigns.
Client has approximately 1000 customers - including 8 of Fortune 12, 24 of F50, 42 of F100 on the commercial side. Also have a strong Federal government presence. Currently $4M in pipeline for this territory!!!
The right candidate for this awesome software sales opportunity will possess the following:
****SPECIFIC focus around network application performance/network management software solutions CRITICAL. MUST HAVE.
- Excellent enterprise application software sales experience, knowledge and success.
- Seasoned and consistent sales performer - proficient selling multi-level into accounts (Director/Op’s as well as CxO-strategic)
- Understands and has experience in network performance or related field (network management, etc.)
- Have a great contact base/rolodex with technology companies in territory that they’ve been working with, building relationships with over the years!
- Can show longevity with companies - 3-5 years
- Entrepreneurial - home office and treated like adults to lay out your strategy and accomplish your goals.
- Driven to make $300k+ in year 2, 3+! (and can show track record to justify)
***Ideal candidates will have backgrounds from companies such as (past and current) Visual Networks, NetScout, InfoVista, Micromuse, Riverbed, Network General, Concord, Opnet, Vital Net, Mercury, Alterpoint, Smarts, or similar.
Quota $2.5M
Average Sale: $175k
Compensation: $100k-$110k base/$250ote!
