Everbridge is seeking a seasoned hunter/closer with a demonstrated track record of sales achievement into Fortune 1000 companies to build a large base of clients in the commercial arena.    The Account Executive – Commercial Accounts will focus on developing new business within the West territory. and will live within the assigned territory (prefer residence in CA).  Specific duties include: 


 


 


 







  • Strategically establish contacts at the senior levels creating a pipeline of quality prospects to meet sales objectives.





  • Identify, qualify and bid on appropriate contracts, teaming with proposals department to complete RFP’s and prepare professional and effective proposals





  • Exceed assigned sales objectives and monthly revenue quotas





  • Participate in institution-specific meetings and visit with key decision makers in the commercial sector





  • Acquire and integrate industry knowledge related to general trends, emerging technologies and competitors





  • Create and maintain accurate account plans and review with Sr. Director of Commercial and Matrix Sales






 


 


 


 The Ideal candidate will possess the following: 


 


 


 







  • Ability to identify and sell multiple use cases within the same organization.





  • Strong prospecting/cold calling, solution sales, and rapport building skills





  • Track record of closing five and six figure contracts





  • 7 + years experience selling hosted software, enterprise software or database solutions, telecommunications solutions or service solutions to commercial accounts.  High volume transactions sales experience a plus





  • Willingness to travel 30 – 40%





  • BS/BA degree or relevant experience





  • Strong industry experience and strong connections.





  • Ability to work in a fast paced, closing team environment





  • Ability to aggressively manage the sales cycle to close





  • Must be an impact individual with experience in selling, presenting, and demonstrating technology solutions





  • Must have a verifiable history of meeting or exceeding sales quotas





  • Must be motivated, dedicated and a self-starter





  • Excellent verbal and written interpersonal, presentation and communication skills





  • Strong analytical, negotiation and creative problem solving skills





  • Experience using SalesForce a plus.






 


 


 


Specialized Skills and Knowledge: Experience in the sales of Internet ASP products, telecommunication services, Business Continuity Planning, Disaster Recovery products, or related products highly desirable.
