Director, Business Development (IT Sales in M&E)

This person will be required to generate revenue through new business in a designated territory and / or targeted industries / accounts through personal efforts.

Key Characteristics of Position

This person will use multiple prospecting methods to generate leads, set up sales meetings and pitch appropriate solution-offerings to prospects. Will prepare proposals, and work closely with presales and delivery managers in identifying appropriate solution for the prospects. Will gain superior knowledge of target market segment and business trends there in. Will build successful and scalable relationships with C-Level audience in prospect organizations.  Will work with minimum supervision.

Background of the incumbent:

• The candidate should have a minimum of 5 - 8 years of prior experience in selling IT solutions to customers 


• IT Sales experience focusing on Media and Entertainment


• Post graduate / MBA from a reputed school would be preferred


• Candidate must have a high level understanding of different technologies


• Should have knowledge / experience in onsite-offshore delivery model


• Knowledge/experience in BPO business is preferred but not mandatory


• Willingness and ability to travel  and function in a multicultural work and client environment
