Position description:
Our rapidly growing organization is seeking a motivated, highly-professional, “hunter” type. One that is an ambitious and driven sales professional with integrity and a strong work ethic that will be responsible for sales activities within the Western US region. The qualified candidate will drive lead generation and account penetration activities to include prospecting accounts at all levels(system administration, IT Manager, IT Director, VP, etc.) acting as an account coach to key decision-makers, and qualifying accounts based on company goals and business model direction. The candidate will be required to understand software quality projects and software solution and articulate solutions and the value of the company’s professional services and software solutions. You will also need to define and manage all steps in the sales cycle for account closure and delivery, manage and coordinate contracts, agreements, pre-sales statements of works, etc. in accordance with. The candidate will work closely with a Sales Engineer to provide services presentation and software demonstrations to potential customers and to effectively communicate with executive team members the current account statuses through written and verbal means. The candidate will also support preparation for trade shows and participate in customer meetings and marketing research. The position will require you to be a road warrior and travel throughout the Western region.
Required skills:
• Proven software sales track record with successful experience
calling on customers in the Silicon Valley and Bay Area
• Proven ability to generate sales leads through cold calling,
customer visits, and networking.
• Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills
• Proven ability to manage all phases in the sales cycle, including
prospecting, managing the sales cycle, closing etc.
• Experience with MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS
Project.
