Account Executive – Dallas, TX

Providing tailored technology solutions and expertise in networked communication systems, telecom equipment, and support, our client boasts over 16,000 enterprise customers spanning the US, Canada, and Mexico.  Our client offers their own customized solutions and well as partnering with some of the leading manufacturers in the US in order to help customers impact their bottom line bringing almost 40 years of experience in the industry.

Our client currently seeks an Account Executive in Dallas to join their firm. 

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for prospecting and creating new business as well as maintaining current customers.


• Develop account base using both Company-provided and self-generated leads.


• Coordinate proactively with departments involved in fulfillment in order to deliver a positive buying experience to the customer.


• Successful track record of consistent quota attainment as well as strong pipeline management.


• Detail-oriented personality with strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.

Requirements:

•  5-10 years of solution and consultative selling experience at the C-level.


• Expert knowledge of Avaya and Cisco as well as Avaya or Cisco certifications preferred.


• Aggressive, self-starter with a hunter mentality.


• Strong relationship-building skills.


• Persistent and fearless nature with strong negotiation skills to proactively manage the sales cycle and pipeline.


• Strong technical nature to be able to speak about and understand technology components and services.


• Strong personal and business ethics and integrity.


• Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Excel and Word.


• 4-year degree preferred.


• Successful track record of consistent quota attainment.


• Detail-oriented personality with strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.


• Exceptional presentation and communication skills, written and verbal.
