Clearwire, founded in October 2003 by telecom pioneer Craig O. McCaw, is focused on providing true mobility to our customers. Clearwire customers stay connected using licensed spectrum, thus eliminating the confines of traditional cable or phone lines.

On May 7, 2008, Clearwire Corporation and Sprint Nextel Corporation entered into a definitive agreement to combine their next-generation wireless broadband businesses to form a new wireless communications company to expedite the deployment of the first nationwide mobile WiMAX network.

In conjunction with this agreement Intel Corporation (through Intel Capital); Google Inc.; Comcast Corporation; Time Warner Cable Inc; and Bright House Networks have collectively agreed to invest $3.2 billion into the new company.

Indirect Sales Manager:

The Indirect Sales Manager will be responsible for building, training, and leading an indirect sales force developing, driving, and expanding our market presence in this channel in a major metropolitan market. One of the significant benefits to this opportunity is that this is an untapped, undeveloped market. This position will be responsible for hiring, training, coaching, mentoring and driving a winning inside sales team that is highly transactional and customer focused.

Successfully developing this channel will allow you to get paid what you are worth and control your own paycheck through our aggressive compensation plan that includes a base salary, uncapped commissions, and a comprehensive benefits package! This lucrative opportunity reports to the General Manager of Sales.

Responsibilities:

• Develop a business plan within the indirect channel footprint to grow dealer network and sales outlets
• Utilize your entrepreneurial talent to identify and recruit local retailers/resellers to sell the Clearwire product
• Successfully motivate and mentor Clearwire authorized resellers to achieve monthly sales & performance objectives
• Develop and deliver on-going training and education programs to Clearwire authorized resellers
• Partner with authorized resellers to create in-store sales programs
• Create marketing materials with authorized resellers
• Assist in the management of national partner relationships
• Troubleshoot and resolve all conflicts as it relates to the Indirect channel, its customers, and exceptional customer service

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in sales & leadership within an Indirect Channel as a a Sales Professional in a fast paced quota driven environment as an Indirect Account Manager, Area Manager, District Manager, Regional Manager, Business Development Manager, Dealer Manager, or Sales Manager
• Proven track record identifying, recruiting, training, and managing an Indirect channel relationship with local retailers
• Must possess & illustrate ability to meet and exceed sales objectives
• Experience in developing successful strategic business plans
• Demonstrated ability to develop and grow an indirect channel/reseller network from scratch
• Exceptional leader with passion and dedication for mentoring and coaching sales reps to success
• Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial and unstructured work environment while demonstrating ability to track activity on daily basis
• Must have strong communication skills, a strong worth ethic, high energy, enthusiasm, and a passion for technology
• Knowledge or and previous selling experience in consumer electronics or other technical/wireless products preferred
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced high transaction environment is imperative
• Ability to work flexible hours to participate in evening and weekend events
• Established professional network in local community preferred
• Professional networking necessary to maximize success
• Must have valid state driver’s license
