Business Development Manager

The Hacker Group is a fully integrated provider of direct and digital marketing services to brand name clients around the country. We plan, create, produce, distribute and measure all direct response driven channels for customer acquisition, retention and customer cross selling. This includes marketing channels such as direct mail, email marketing, web marketing, banner advertising, paid search, DRTV, media planning/buying, production management and performance analytics.

The Business Development Manager is key to our agency’s continued double digit growth year after year, and responsible for identifying and closing new business for the agency. Hacker Group has a national scope and Business Development Managers can focus on new client acquisition across the U.S.

Responsibilities include:

• Creating and developing relationships with prospective clients through consultative selling




• Leading and managing the discovery process with prospective clients, focusing on identifying client needs and aligning our target products and services




• Writing and presenting compelling proposals that summarize key findings, propose recommendations regarding Hacker’s services and action plans




• Closing new business, and cross selling or up selling opportunities

Qualifications:

• Five or more years experience selling Marketing services, ideally Direct Marketing




• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales target




• Excellent written, verbal communication skills




• Self-directed, results oriented, entrepreneurial spirit




• Mid to high level expertise with MS Office
