Position Description:
We are searching for a Director of Sales to develop and implements selling strategies and tactics to ensure volume and profit objectives are achieved for large retail chains. This Director will oversee a broker sales team and implement retail execution for the assigned customers to achieve sales, marketplace share objectives, and speed-to-shelf of new items. This Director is responsible for promoting effective customer relationships, partnering with key individuals at all levels within the customer organization, gaining a full understanding of the customer’s needs, anticipating changes in the business environment.
Primary Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a four-year degree in Business Administration or Marketing. This candidate must have proven success within the c-store channel and managing a broker sales team. This individual will have experience strategically assessing the market landscape, building and executing specific, segmented strategies to win business across a diversity of customers. Consumer Products experience (CPG) is preferred.
