JOB DESCRIPTION
To act as the leader of Verizon Business overall business relationship with defined clients and other nominated strategic engagements. Responsible for developing and executing an overall client business plan to achieve Verizon Business client objectives and nurturing senior executive and board level relationships as required for plan delivery. Building trust and credibility at all levels within the client and internally at Verizon Business and thereby identifying client priorities and ensuring Verizon Business has a key role in achieving them. To be responsible for shaping and driving all opportunities to a successful conclusion. Works with the solutions architect and business analyst to identify and shape business issues and strategies and then drive overall solution definition and specification, utilising and co-ordinating all specialist resources as needed, always ensuring the solution optimises the clients objectives and business needs as well as those of Verizon Business and its partners.
Requirements
15+ years + industry experience in networked IT services / telecoms; including 5+ years at Director/VP level in major publicly traded organizations, having both domestic and international responsibilities and $50m+ annual revenue/cost responsibilities Extensive outsourcing / outtasking /off shoring expertise; as the lead executive for the end-user, or services supplier, or both, involving multi-country requirements Personally led and closed minimum 2 complex integration deals with TCV of $100m+, involving people /asset transfer, contract novations, partner services, and multi-country requirements; and/or led, implemented and operationally managed similar transactions as the end-user First /second degree qualified, and/or relevant chartered institute member, and /or significant industry recognised accreditations Extensive line management experience of significant (100+) multi-function teams Significant experience and gravitas in successfully working with, and presenting to, executive board level in major publicly traded organizations Significant lead business case development and subsequent commercial contracting/negotiating expertise gained in the above environments. M&A integration experience SOX / ITIL qualified and experienced BPO expertise ERP/CRM understanding, deployment, and service support Major Data centre consolidation activities Multi-lingual Lived and worked in more than one country Specific vertical sector expertise Strategy and planning.
