Senior Account Executive

Our client offers a number of web applications that allow for interaction between sports fans. Their applications are distributed on top social networking sites like Facebook and MySpace and through mobile devices like the iPhone.

We are assisting this client with a search for Senior Account Executives. One is to be based in San Francisco and the other will be based in New York. The successful candidates will be responsible for generating advertising revenue. This position will report to the Vice President, Sales.

Responsibilities

• Develop new and further existing relationships with top tier advertisers on the West Coast


• Understand a customer’s business objectives in order to design and sell custom solutions that connect the value of social networking, mobile and sports marketing


• Sell million dollar sponsorships within industry leading products

Qualifications

• MUST HAVE - at least 5 years online advertising sales experience


• MUST HAVE - current Rolodex of digital ad agency contacts


• MUST HAVE - Bachelors degree


• MUST HAVE - strong understanding of Internet technology, social networking, sports industry, mobile and brand marketing


• MUST HAVE - brand selling experience


• MUST HAVE - solid communication skills (verbal and written) as well as strong presentation and sales leadership skills
