Although candidates within a commutable distance to Albuquerque, NM are preferred, candidates based in other metropolitan locations would be considered.

Brivea is a newly-established, global IT spend management and reduction company that provides the standard for measuring and delivering improved IT effectivenessdevise and implement sales strategies, provide marketing and product development programs, both short and long range, targeted toward existing and new markets. Brivea is a new company with existing investors and early revenues.  & ROI.  We are currently seeking a talented candidate with recent IT/software/telecommunications sales leadership skills to build, mentor, motivate and lead a team to achieve the sales goals and objectives.

The Organization is seeking a Vice President of Sales responsible to build a targeted growth strategy, identifying new business opportunities and executing them in partnership with the Operations and Field Delivery teams.  In this role the qualified candidate will be responsible for creating, leading and motivating a North American sales team across industry sectors and will use proven expertise to attain sales goals and pipeline growth. This includes helping to develop and execute strategies to grow revenues in existing accounts and select target markets.  The team will penetrate new accounts utilizing a niche sales approach with a charter to close new opportunities.  The candidate will need to become familiar with a wide range of industry-specific and business oriented value propositions, and be able to use a niche sales approach to align the company’s value propositions with the client and coordinate the necessary company resources to close new business and ensure long-term business success. The qualified candidate must have a track record of successful sales leadership to Fortune 1000 at the ‘C’ level preferably within the IT/Software/Telecommunications industries.



RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans and forecasts.

  • Develop and manage sales/marketing operating budgets.

  • Develop and lead the commercial negotiation process.

  • Manage a team of sales professionals assuring data accuracy, account transparency and accurate account performance including proper project activity accounting

  • Drive consistent sales revenue, cost recognition, forecasting and budgeting.

  • Within the monthly closing process, assure adherence to financial deliverable timetables and completeness of financial information and compliance with US GAAP and IFRS

  • Build a competitive, effective and quality driven sales organization.

  • Monitor competitor products, sales and marketing activities.

  • Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners. 

  • Direct sales forecasting activities and set performance goals.

  • Coach and mentor, staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales programs with a hands-on, team-oriented approach.

  • Direct market channel development by setting virtual sales territories, quotas, and goals.

  • Assist sales talent with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.

  • Prepare periodic sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion, including performances against plans.

  • Manage and develop client relationships and trusted partnerships that will optimize profitability, revenue and client satisfaction.


REQUIREMENTS:



  • Strong and successful sales management track record to Fortune 1000 clients ‘C’ level executives preferably in the IT/Software/Telecommunications industries.

  • Bachelors Degree in Sales, Marketing or Business preferred with a minimum of ten years of Business development experience (Sales, Marketing or Product Management).

  • Experience in mentoring, developing, nurturing sales leaders, analysts and/or developers.

  • Demonstrated ability in at least one vertical market for selling technology consulting services.

  • Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales quota.

  • Action and results-oriented approach with a "take charge" attitude with teamwork and collaboration. An ability to work with prospects to develop strong business solution cases coupled with solid closing skills.

  • Experienced in establishing and executing call plans, conducting account planning sessions and effectively executing account development strategies.

  • Excellent verbal, presentation, interpersonal and written communication skills.

  • Demonstrated leadership ability and ability to think and act tactically and strategically.

  • Proven ability to lead across functional teams.

  • Demonstrated understanding of market disciplines, competitive landscape and current technologies.

  • Excellent management and communication skills; able to reach consensus and communicate clearly with peers as well as executive management.

  • Solid business acumen. Makes recommendations based on solid assumptions when solving complex problems.

  • Strong work ethic that is self-driven and resourceful to achieve goals independently as well as work well in groups.

  • Flexibility to adjust to changing requirements, schedules and priorities.

  • Excellent writing, meeting facilitation and presentation skills including Senior Executive level presentation skills.

  • Ability to translate goals into workable action plans and then execute through completion.
