Position Summary
Accountable for the sale of TriZetto’s products and services to named accounts and meeting a rigorous quota. Responsibilities include establishing a strong relationship with new clients and prospects, managing the solution selling process including the organization of TriZetto’s resources that will be working with the prospective client.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Promote and sell TriZetto software, solutions, and services to potential clients and in accordance with specified business plans.
2. Develop and design plans and strategies to support selling to potential Clients.
3. Maintains effective communications with Sales Management to ensure proper sensitivity to the needs of the Revenue Generation Team.
4. Assists and may at times be responsible for resource allocation to a potential Client.
5. Coordinates with other departments, teams, and individuals across TriZetto to ensure all tools and data are available to present proposal to client.
6. Develop, manage, and communicate a sales strategy plan, communicating sales opportunities with new Clients, as well as documenting actions taken, and follow-up required for all current sales activity.
7. Input and track all sales leads and status levels in Onyx.
8. Create and maintain a high level of customer intimacy. Ensure that all of the client’s needs are being met by coordinating with both the client and TriZetto, and follow-up as needed.
9. Liaise with the appropriate personnel inside TriZetto to achieve sales and business objectives.
10. All other duties as assigned.
Education and/or Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree (BA or BS) or equivalent; or a minimum of eight years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five years experience in client relationship management with consulting experience in the Healthcare Industry.
• Working knowledge of healthcare industry focusing on health insurance and managed care.
• Ability to apply sales skills to identify potential new revenue opportunities.
• Excellent project management, presentation, and leadership skills required.
• Excellent negotiation, problem management and relationship management skills required.
• Strong interpersonal skills to include communication and conflict management skills
• Analytical thinking
• Microsoft Office Skills
• Strong working knowledge of TriZetto business process. This includes but is not limited to Sales, Marketing, and Pricing.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• 100% travel may be required.
