JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client is an early stage ad network that leverages their proprietary smart technology platform which combines all forms of targeting with a variety of data sources to deliver performance for their advertisers.
We are assisting this client with a search for two (2) Sales Managers for the New York and Chicago offices.
Responsibilities
- Conduct full sales life cycle from customer identification through closing business by way of digital ad agencies and direct advertisers.
- Develop solid relationships with advertisers
- Prepare pitch materials as needed.
- Work closely with sales management to define products and discuss ideas on how they will be brought to market.
- Manage pipeline with CRM tools
- Manage day-to-day operational processes including campaign set-up, receipt of creative or tags, trafficking, optimization and trouble-shooting, along with the trafficking teams.
- Work with both direct response advertisers, as well as those who mix brand and response objectives.
- Help develop best practices to share with the sales force as we grow the team.
- Identify inventory “needs” in the marketplace and drive requirements back into the business for acquisition.
- Manage successful client deployments and ensure ongoing high client satisfaction, renewal, and upsell into current client base.
Qualfications
- MUST HAVE - at least 5 years of experience in interactive ad sales.
- MUST HAVE - a robust Rolodex of existing relationships and contacts with top-tier digital agencies and advertisers.
- Solid written, verbal and presentation skills
- Ability to navigate CRM applications to maintain a sales pipeline
- Strong MS Office skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
- Direct agency experience, either as customer, partner or employee.
- MUST HAVE - BS or BA degree.
