Immediate opportunity for an Account Manager for Data Services and Collocation to join this growing privately held company with a world-class management team providing end-to-end fully managed optical networks, managed hosting and managed services.  As an Account Manager you will be managing and expanding business in existing accounts as well as creating new business within the company’s division that provides data center space,  collocation and connectivity services. Responsibilities



  • Manages current collocation customers to achieve highest levels of customer satisfaction, drives new business within the accounts. Meets monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.

  • Directs the cultivation of proactive interaction with strategic customers including, network planning, data center and meet me room development.

  • Spearheads and drives sales strategies; conducts all lead generation and sales activity to create new business.

  • Prepares proposals, quotes, contracts and responses for potential clients

  • Maintains all quote documentation with accurate pricing and configurations


Requirements


 



  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

  • Have 5+ years direct sales experience and success in the IT Managed Hosting / Application Services industry; ability to configure and high- end colo solutions

  • Demonstrated understanding of our industry, customer needs and competitive landscape

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills. Proven reputation for customer focus and strategic account relationship building.

  • Strong sales track record with consistent overachievement of business results
