JOB DESCRIPTION

Based in Jersey City, N.J., IPC has approximately 1,000 employees throughout the Americas, Europe and Asia-Pacific regions. Candidate must have proven experience in a direct hunting sales role. You must be able to demonstrate your ability to identify, qualify and generate new business. A qualified candidate will have 5 plus years of solid, Financial Industry sales experience in the market data / electronic trading arena. Experienced and professional communication skills both oral and written are a must. You must also be able to work in a fast paced, team environment with revenue deadlines. A track record of success and recent experience is required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets through TDM Data and Ethernet sales.
- Work with NS Sales Team to assist with training and occasionally sales calls.\
- Acquire and integrate industry knowledge related to general trends, emerging technologies, & competitors
- Develop and manage sales funnel to analyze and manage pipeline activity and monitor sales activity.
- Maintain contact with the customer, resolve problems, and seek additional opportunities to meet needs.
- Create and maintain accurate account plans and reviews with IPC management
- Establish new business contacts through a variety of networking as a point of lead generation.
- Attend local networking events to assist in new sales lead generation.
- Generating new revenue through closing sales of new business customers.
- Responsible for daily cold calling and appointment setting.

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
Required:
- Must have a proven track record of success within high tech solutions sales.
- Must have strong communication skills, both verbal and writing skills
- Must be an effective networker.
- Minimum of 5 years Financial Industry / Market Data sales experience.
- Thorough understanding of market data / electronic trading industry and technology
