Position Description:
Equifax is seeking accomplished outside sales professionals to accommodate our growth. This is a highly visible and consultative sales opportunity selling Business Content Solutions to "C" level influences at companies that have B2B relationships. These solutions are targeted for Sales and Marketing, Finance, IT, Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Spend Analysis, and other enterprise data dependent functions.
This is a terrific opportunity for a proven B2B "Hunter" to maintain a high level of independence yet work with a supportive and dynamic team within the rapidly growing data services business sector.
The New Business Development Manager will be responsible for the development of new business with Fortune 2000 companies in the targeted territory.
The primary responsibility of this individual(s) will be to lead efforts to acquire new customer relationships for Equifax. The selected individual(s) will be responsible for developing a sustainable, quarter over quarter pipeline achieving target revenue objectives. S/he will also respond to direct leads, qualifying prospects and leading sales efforts. It is expected that this individual will act as the primary client contact for new prospects from initial contact through contract signing. S/he will be responsible for organizing his or her activities to meet sales objectives by establishing personal relationships, identifying and overcoming obstacles, directing internal activities, and effectively allocating his/her attention and resources.
Position Requirements:
- Proven track record of successfully selling enterprise solutions
- Experience selling in the targeted territory
- History of consistently surpassing sales goals
- Strong new business development skills
- Entrepreneurial, self-starting nature
- Highly motivated
- Appreciation for fast-paced environment
- Managing multiple sales processes in parallel
- At least 5-7 years of direct sales experience, 10+ years preferred
- Experience selling to large enterprises
- Experience working on complex sales involving coordination across business units
- Experience negotiating written contracts
- Good oral and written communication skills, including knowledge of and comfort with mainstream productivity software tools (e.g. Powerpoint, Word, Excel, Salesforce/Siebel)
- Excellent judgment and listening skills
- Mature, motivated professional with integrity

- Ability to manage through influence and persuasion
