MAJOR FUNCTION
Manages the sales activities of a sales territory which includes Baltimore, Washington D.C., Richmond, VA. Performs market and/or geographic analysis of existing and potential accounts to ascertain sales and market opportunities in order to maximize the sales of air and liquid industrial cleaning equipment and minimize the sales of our competitors. Develops and supports direct, dealer, OEM, and government accounts and prospects in order to meet or exceed all assigned goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Manages the territory sales development strategy and implementation.
2. Supports and initiates business development and growth activities with prospective and existing accounts through personal and team efforts. Accounts include:
3. Strives continuously to improve effectiveness and professionalism. Focus areas include:
4. Manages reporting and paperwork requirements.
5. Coordinates territory tradeshows and attends as needed.
6. Provides Department Managers with any relevant market, competitor, industry
product and application information.
7. Any additional duties and responsibilities as stipulated by Upper Management.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field of study preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of five years of sales experience. Industrial sales experience preferred.
